May is charging along nicely. I have had some days off recently which have been good to decompress, make some more art, create new mosaics and generally do things other than go to work. We really do all work too much I think. But it is a necessary evil right? We all want to make money to buy all the things. I am constantly trying to find the balance of earning as much money as I can, and hustling for side incomes, and also spending less money on things I don’t really need. Avoiding impulse buying, reorganising my wardrobe so I realise I have 13 tennis skirts and I really do not need another one! Perhaps another blog idea; ways to save money! For now here are a few other gems I have come up with for this post.

Something I found online recently which struck a cord with me and hopefully you:
HOW TO FIX YOUR LIFE ALONE:
1. Take full responsibility.
Stop waiting for rescue, luck, or the “right time.” Your life changes the moment you own it—completely and without excuses.
2. Cut the noise
Limit distractions, opinions, and unnecessary input. Clarity comes when your mind is not overcrowded.
3. Build discipline over mood
You won’t always feel motivated. Show up anyway. Small, consistent actions quietly rebuild your life.
4. Clean your environment
Your space reflects your mind. Declutter your room, organize your surroundings—order outside creates calm inside.
5. Fix your routine
Wake up on time, move your body, eat better, sleep properly. A strong routine stabilizes everything else.
6. Face your thoughts
Stop running from yourself. Sit in silence, observe your mind, and understand your patterns. Awareness is the beginning of change.
7. Set clear, simple goals
Don’t overwhelm yourself with everything at once. Focus on the next right step. Progress is built one action at a time.
8. Protect your energy
Distance yourself from negativity—even if it means being alone. Solitude is not loneliness; it’s where you rebuild strength.
You don’t need a crowd to fix your life…
You need clarity, discipline, and honesty with yourself.
Because the moment you stop depending on others—
you become unstoppable.
Feel free to copy and print out. I often make these, print and laminate and place around my house as a reminder.

Here is another one I made recently of my top self care routines. Obviously they are my personal choices, but perhaps they will inspire you to make your own list? Again feel free to copy and print out and stick somewhere you can remind yourself to try and do at least 5 of your favourites everyday.

I have been writing more poetry lately and here is another go at a poem:
Inspiration:
Ideas that pop into your head, like popping corn they appear like magic.
Write it down quick, before it disappears.
Drag its tail back into your thoughts, hold it tight before it runs out of sight.
Like a muscle we need to work it everyday, the more we flex, the more we create to think and be inspired.
Boom, rattle, pop, take more action on those ideas that rock.
Sizzle, slay, saunter, snap, move your body to generate flow.
Just let go, you just might glow, but go slow and enjoy every moment.
I wrote another bad poem about being bold but I think I will leave that one until next time!! Lucky you! Lol.

I love finding inspiring artworks too, all images taken from Pinterest.
Okay well short and sweet this one today! Hope you have enjoyed it. Would love to hear from you in the comments.
