Adrift. A Restless Poem.

Somewhere out there in the universe, things make sense.
Somewhere out there in the universe, things make sense.

Adrift

Restless

Abandoned.

Brown crunchy dry leaves rustle in the wind.

Drifting

Passing

Breathing

Slowly time ticks.

Thinking

Wondering

Doubting

How will things will work out?

Analysing

Processing

Letting go

How can I go on?

Struggling

Crying

Pining

Wishing someone was here.

Accepting

Relenting

Feeling

Allowing time to pass and knowing things will improve.

Hopeful

Optimistic

Promising

Life always turns around.

Life really does work in mysterious ways. I know that right now I am in a transition phase. I am restless and resisting change and the newness of everything around me. Change is good, usually. Things will turn around, they always do.

I hope you can find some connection in my words. What are you resisting, persisting or working through right now?

Love Anita xx

  1. Hi Anita. I’m in a transition period right now too. I am not sure where I will end up. I read a passage once that helps me…”the greatest friend of the soul is the unknown”. Have faith that you will come out stronger and freer on the other side. xoxo Krista
